According to statistics, no more than 2% of artists in Germany can make a living from their work. What working and living realities do young female artists face, and why?
The film <Making Art Systemrelevant> explores shared discussions among artists about the possible causes and challenges of working conditions in the art industry. By reflecting on the current realities of life and the artistic careers of six young artists, the film often brings unspoken confrontations to light. These problems are also examined on a structural level. What role do artists play in society, and what changes are necessary?
The exploration of “working conditions and sustainable survival strategies for art producers” is approached from an autobiographical perspective, addressing classism both inside and outside the art world.

<시스템에 예술을 통합하기(Making Art Systemrelevant)>는 여성 예술가들의 노동 조건과 지속 가능한 생존 전략을 연구한 작업이다. 여성 예술가의 사회적 위치와 역할을 자전적 시선으로 탐색하며, 예술계 안팎에 내재한 계급주의, 불투명한 시스템, 차별적 구조를 분석한 리서치는 작업 환경 개선을 위한 구체적 방안을 담론화하며, 자전적 에세이와 영상 작업으로 구성되었다.
여섯 명의 젊은 예술가들과의 인터뷰를 다룬, 영상 <시스템에 예술을 통합하기>는 예술계 노동 조건의 원인과 과제에 대해 작가들이 가진 생각을 조명한다. 이들의 현재 삶과 예술적 경력을 비추어보며 잘 드러나 보이지 않는 내면의 갈등과 모순을 드러내고, 이러한 문제를 구조적인 차원에서도 살펴본다.
